| This expedition is based purely on living and experiencing the jungle. It is a unique opportunity to get well acquainted with Peru 's north; the great variations and contrasts of the Amazon. We will come in close contact both with nature and the native people in high and low jungle and experience their lifestyle and means of living. The expedition starts with hot springs in the high jungle and living with the native Tingana people in the mangrove forests, to later cruise by riverboat on one of the rainforest's many rivers directly towards the source of the majestic Amazon River itself. Entering the enchantingly beautiful and bio-diverse nature reserve of Pacaya Samiria we meet the Yarina people and discover the powerful energy of the low Amazon jungle. |
